Southern Lights

Each year many people travel to Norway or Sweden to enjoy the sight of 'northern lights' (aurora borealis). The sight of these beautiful lights leaves a permanent memory in the thousands of visitors who travel north in order to enjoy this unique spectacle of Nature

Since last week Collegio Volta offers a night sight that stands on a par with the northern lights.  EDiSU has reinstated the lights on the College south front after a long period of darkness and College is  celebrating evening the stunning spectacle of Volta's 'southern lights'.

The College is very grateful to the M Aramini, Director General of EDiSU, for having rescued this project from obvlivion and provided lighting that greatly enhances the safety and security of College undergraduates who live and work in the South wing.
